MAJOR INTEREST AND
SKILLS
Improving existing processes. Capital equipment
research and evaluation. Chemical and gas usage
analysis for cleanrooms and labs, effluent analysis, HPM
code analysis. Process design to include equipment
sizing and requirements, factory layouts, capital equipment cost models,
manufacturing cost models. Tool research and
utility matrix analysis.
Registered Professional Engineer – Chemical in 11 states.
EXPERIENCE
Utility, gas and chemical analysis for university laboratories and industrial
cleanrooms. Process system sizing, liquid and gas storage, emissions and
code analysis. Development of abatement and HPM management strategies. Analysis
of DI water, waste treatment, and bulk gas usage. Development of
specifications and designs for wet process stations, gas delivery systems,
point of use abatement systems, toxic gas monitoring systems, acid waste
neutralization systems, and DI water systems. Develops as-built, future
and phased Utility Matrices for 150mm, 200mm wafer fab operations (silicon and GaAs) as well as FPD and MEMS fabs, University
Laboratories and HPM/specialized Laboratories.
Experienced with renovation and green site fab design and construction driven
by process tool requirements for microelectronics and Bio/Med manufacturing and
laboratories.
Extensive tool research for facility,
process, and operational parameters. Assisted clients in capital
equipment analysis and decisions for key deposition and etch processes in sub
half micron IC and GaAs devices. Hands-on experience with tool decommissioning and relocation,
including project management and detailed design for installation at new site.
Project experience includes
Plated nickel and gold onto flexible circuits and ceramic capacitors and nickel and tin/lead solder onto ceramic capacitors. Implemented quality control program for incoming raw materials. Implemented quality assurance measures to improve customer on time performance. Increased daily production of an existing product line while reducing utility requirements. Modified processes to achieve optimum results. Simultaneously assisted with the ramp up of two new product lines. Plating operations experience includes both barrel and rack plating. Analyzed chemical baths for plating operations and made bath maintenance recommendations based on the test results.
