MAJOR INTERESTS AND SKILLS
Cleanroom design, project management, 3D design, AutoCAD and AutoCAD customization, facility management, programming, customization of software for semiconductor/FPD applications, factory modeling and manufacturing cost models. EXPERIENCE
All facets of Industrial Engineering for University cleanrooms and laboratories, semiconductor, FPD, disc drive, MEMS and photonics manufacturing and testing cleanrooms and labs. Modeling of semiconductor and FPD factories, pilot lines, and research and development centers, including product cost, material handling, cleanroom space and capital investment. Device cross section development for flat panel display products. AutoCAD layout of microelectronics semiconductor and FPD manufacturing lines, including elevations, fit-up design and plan views of equipment. Utility and equipment database program development. Field work in tool fit-up and documentation for wafer fab, assembly, FPD, MEMS, disc drive, biochip and photonics process areas. Extensive experience with subfab space optimization. Participated in multiple engineering design reviews of microelectronic facilities as part of the design process, as a peer reviewer or as part of design team. Formulated design review reports and responded to comments and questions. Generated punch lists and recommendations from walkthroughs of cleanrooms under construction, prior to owner handoff.

Coordinated and managed facility systems startup for MEMS R&D facility for a confidential industrial client. Efforts included startup sequence scheduling of facility systems, generation of operations and maintenance specifications, and training.

Supervision of cleanroom and lab design teams during comprehensive design from programming through construction administration. Project leadership experience at University of Michigan SSEL Expansion, University of California Berkeley CITRIS, Harvard University LISE, MIT, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratories Molecular Foundry, Duke University CIEMAS, Arizona State University Engineering Research Center, Oak Ridge National Labs CNMS, Philips, Atmel, Motorola Biochip, Readrite, Sandia Labs and 3M. Other project experience includes Intel, Motorola, Kodak, Silterra, LSI Logic, Seagate, Visible Genetics, Optical Imaging Systems, Ericsson, PerkinElmer and others.

Previous experience with National Fuel Gas company in process piping layouts, pipeline repairs and maintenance. Electronics sales associate for a nationwide retailer of computer hardware and software.
