ABBIE GREGG - President

EXPERIENCE
Over fifteen years as an Engineering Consultant, specializing in microelectronics process analysis and startup/restructuring of laboratories and manufacturing facilities. Over 500 projects completed as President of AGI. Wafer Fab, MEMS, Flexible Electronics, Nanotechnology, and FPD Projects in USA, Europe, Canada, Malaysia, Taiwan, Japan, and Korea. Recent work includes accommodation of 90 nm CMOS processing on 300mm wafers and nanotechnology research for University and Government laboratories. Areas of specialization include Flat Panel Displays, Flexible Displays and Batteries, Integrated Circuits, Microphotonics, MEMS, Disk Drive Components, Biochip/Medical devices/imagers, and Multichip Modules. Projects have included technology transfer, yield enhancement, improved operations effectiveness, and "programming", design and construction support for highly technical facilities. Developed database and software system for computer aided layout, utility loading, and design of cleanrooms, advanced laboratories and characterization/imaging areas. Supported clients with management and technical training, and implementing AMHS, SPC, and MES systems. Provided cleanroom and Technical Training, Specification Writing, Fair Market Valuations, and Benchmarking of technical products, processes and facilities.
Twenty years of Engineering and Management experience in the Semiconductor Industry. Responsibility at Director level for operations, technology and quality assurance in Wafer Fab, Assembly and Test for General Semiconductor Industries, GTE, GI, and Medtronic/MicroRel. Extensive startup and turnaround experience in US and overseas operations.
Process Engineering Management at General Instrument Corp., Motorola Inc., and National Semiconductor, including process development and startup of new facilities. Process and Device Engineering experience at Fairchild Semiconductor.
Instructor in Del Web Construction Graduate Studies and Industry programs at Arizona State University.
