Marketing Associate
Job Description:

Abbie Gregg, Inc. (AGI) is a licensed Engineering and Architecture firm providing design and consulting services to advanced technology, government, university and industrial clients, specializing in research, pilot lines and manufacturing. Cleanrooms and Advanced Laboratories are our only business. We also provide start-up consulting, process improvements, industrial engineering, and high-tech operations support. We offer innovative solutions that have been successful in over 870 projects spanning 5 continents, for over 33 years.

Working closely with the AGI Team and our Teaming Partners, the Marketing Associate will be responsible for assembling RFQ and RFP responses, interview presentations, and other marketing collateral. This position will assist with developing and curating content strategy to insure we have a strong pitch to prospective clients. This position will support internal team deadlines and ensure that writing (proposals and marketing packages), imagery (InDesign, Illustrator), and information flow into well-organized and persuasive materials. Additional responsibilities may include maintaining our social media accounts (LinkedIn/Industry Directories) and the AGI website (Dreamweaver, WordPress), market research, outreach, and contact and marketing database maintenance.

This position requires a personality for sales and networking and must be a person who possesses the ability to assist the Director of Business Development to close a deal. This is a supporting sales role and requires a high-energy, self-motivated person who can conduct and close business with ease. This position maintains excellent interpersonal communication skills, particularly where information must be conveyed to decision-makers at both small and large corporations.

The person, along with the Director of Business Development, will act as an AGI ambassador at industry events and will actively seek networking opportunities. Attendance at trade shows and industry events to prospect new accounts and maintain existing relationships, is a key part of this role.

The Marketing Associate will have an entrepreneurial mindset and will thrive in this fast-paced, dynamic small-business environment. The range of responsibilities and opportunities for this position is limited only by the drive of the successful candidate themselves.

Position Requirements
Education, Experience & Training required:

  • Develops and maintains excellent relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Graphic Design, English, Architecture, or similar field, as well as a minimum of three years’ experience in coordination and preparation of marketing materials for a professional service company (experience with architectural, engineering, or construction firms is a plus).
  • As you might expect, this position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, an eye for graphic style and quality, and the ability to successfully handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Must be well-organized, with the ability to work independently at times and collaboratively at others. 
  • A can-do attitude and creative enthusiasm, are prerequisites.
  • Experience developing compelling graphic presentations and engaging proposal documents using various platforms i.e. Word, Adobe, etc.
  • Excellent Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and the Adobe Suite (Dreamweaver, InDesign, Photoshop), WordPress knowledge.

Excellent Computer Skills Required:

Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook REQUIRED. Adobe Suite Including: Photoshop and Illustrator, Dreamweaver, WordPress

Position:
